Course Description:

 

Introduces business law and its application to business activity.  Includes contracts, agency and employment, negotiable instruments and sales.

 

Core Learning Outcomes:

 

Upon completion of this course students will:

1.  Understand legal theories and rules related to business activity.

2.  Identify legal issues.

3.  Use critical thinking to apply legal theories to identified issues.

4.  Predict outcomes based on legal theories and rules.

Attendance/Participation Policy:

 

As this class is given on-line, in class participation is not necessary.  Students are however expected to participate in the weekly discussions each week.
