Description: |

|
|
General patterns of the development of
human culture and the basic principles of social anthropology and ethnology.
The course will provide field work experience and emphasize concepts of the
modern practical views of anthropology. |

Participation
Policy: |

To maintain the highest quality of academic work, students are
expected to participate fully in all course activities on a weekly basis.
Login to the site at least twice a week is necessary. Weekly activity reports
and two postings to discussion boards are required each week, in addition to
a paper and two exams. In case of serious illness, emergency, religious
holidays, or participation in official college functions, students remain
responsible for completing the requirements of the course. |
