Course Description
|
Demonstrates
the accounting principles and procedures used by a business in setting up and
maintaining records for reporting purposes. Topics include the accounting
cycle, preparation of the financial statements, payroll and banking
procedures, and computerized record keeping. |

Upon completion of the course students will:

1. Perform
and apply the steps of the accounting cycle. |

2. Prepare
financial statements. |

3. Complete
basic banking transactions and reconcile a bank statement. |

4. Calculate
and record payroll transactions. |
