Taking an Online Course

FCC offers you a Program of Online Courses for credit that are not limited by the borders of our campus. Through Distance Learning, you can take single courses and complete degree programs offered by FCC and other institutions. You can take online courses from your home or office using Internet-based technologies. The advantage of taking courses online is that it enables you to learn when it's convenient for you. With the exception of one proctored exam, on-campus attendance is not required.

Frederick Community College offers an Online and Hybrid Course Program with over one hundred courses every semester.

In 2012 the Program was audited by Quality Matters (QM), a nationally recognized institution in the field of quality assurance. QM's audit covered a comprehensive list of ninety nine standards used to identify quality online programs. The Audit Report is available online
