      On the opening Bboard screen identify the new course shell under “My Courses”

1.  Identify the new course shell according to the pattern “PH_208_Fallxx_SecONLx _Sess15”

(B) Instructor:
      On the opening Bboard screen identify the previous “source” course from which you copy
      the content into the new course shell. If you inherit the source course from another

1.  Open the source course,
2.  Go >Control Panel >Packages and Utilities>Copy Course

 Under [1] ‘Select Copy Type’ select >Copy Course Materials into an Existing Course
 Under [2] Browse to the Destination Course ID (new course shell identified under (A) above and
                      >‘Select’>’Submit’;

       Check ALL fields, including those you don’t use, except:
       DO NOT check ‘General Information'
       DO NOT check ‘Course Evaluation'
       DO NOT include Enrollments in the copy.

   Under [5]  If you have a cartridge in your old  course, make sure that you check-mark the box to copy
                     the cartridge content.
    >Submit >Ok

(C) Instructor:

Bboard will need time to complete your ‘Copy’ request. Before opening the new shell with the copied content you must wait until you receive an automated confirmation from jyoung@frederick.edu  telling you that the copy process has been completed. After receiving the automated email, your course material may still take some time to appear in your course shell depending on the traffic volume on the Bboard server and the amount of material to be copied.

     Please be patient and do not recopy as this will cause errors in your course.

(D) Instructor:
      On the opening Bboard screen identify the new course shell under “My Courses”

1.  Open the new course.
2.  Check that all materials, including tests and grade-book items, have been copied;
3. If you encounter problems, have your confirmation email ready and contact https://servicedesk.frederick.edu
