Taking a Hybrid Course

In addition to Online Courses, the College offers an increasing number of 'Blended' or 'Hybrid' courses. The advantage of taking a hybrid course is that you see your instructor in person, but the majority of time is spent online. You come on campus for half of the time required in a traditional face-to-face, for the rest of the time you learn when it's convenient for you.

Frederick Community College offers an Online and Hybrid Course Program with over one hundred courses every semester.

In 2012 the Program was audited by Quality Matters (QM), a nationally recognized institution in the field of quality assurance. QM's audit covered a comprehensive list of ninety nine standards used to identify quality online programs. The Audit Report is available online
